Antique 19th-Century Pine Side Table / Desk by Buswell & Co.

A charming 19th-century English pine side table or writing desk by Buswell & Co., a respected Devon-based maker originally established as an ironmongery in 1876 by Charles and William Buswell. The firm later expanded into high-quality furniture and home goods, leaving behind a legacy of practical yet characterful pieces.

Dating from the late 1800s, this table features a beautifully aged, sun-bleached pine top with a wonderfully faded surface that tells the story of over a century of use. The legs and drawer fronts have acquired a soft, mellow tone that only time can produce, adding warmth and authenticity to its aesthetic.
